Stuart Cerutti

Associate

Stuart's practice focuses on civil litigation, commercial disputes, employment matters, and courtroom advocacy in Virginia state and federal courts. He brings a client-centered approach informed by hands-on trial experience, complex case management, and a strong commitment to public service.

Stuart has managed diverse caseloads, handling a multitude of cases simultaneously across all stages of litigation. His practice includes representation of individuals and businesses in contractual disputes, employment discrimination and wrongful termination claims, and landlord–tenant litigation.

Stuart has also represented clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings through the American Arbitration Association and has negotiated and drafted settlement agreements resolving contested matters efficiently and favorably.

Stuart’s background includes meaningful public-interest and veterans’ advocacy. He worked with the Masons Veterans and Service Members Legal Clinic (M-VETS), where he managed client intake and screening, represented veterans in discharge upgrade matters, and drafted comprehensive briefs and evidentiary exhibits for submission to military review boards.
