Associate
Elouis's practice focuses primarily on litigation and trial work for business clients. He brings experience across both criminal and civil litigation.
Elouis began his legal career clerking for the Honorable Wendell P. Gardner, Jr. of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, where he assisted the Court with legal research and draft decisions in post-conviction criminal matters. He later served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office, prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases, conducting bench and jury trials, and negotiating plea agreements.
Prior to joining Martin Law Group, Elouis practiced as a Litigation Associate at another commercial law firm, where he represented financial institutions and other business clients in contested matters in Maryland state courts. Before entering the legal profession, he worked as a credit analyst at a regional bank; experience that enhances his ability to evaluate financial issues and advise clients in business litigation.
Outside of the office, Elouis is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, who keeps him young at heart. When he’s not practicing law, Elouis can be found at the gym, on the golf course, exploring new destinations in search of great food, or taking in live music and concerts.
